Hero Within Yourself…..you must believe!!!

This is a page for me to believe in myself!

I love the colors of this page and the subject HERO.  Mariah Carey sings this song with real emotion.  What an amazing singer she is.   There are two different women faces on this page representing that everyone can be a hero within themselves.  No matter what diversities we all go through in life we must come out as a hero because it is the only way we can heal.

Please enjoy this blog post and look closely at the painting and listen carefully to the words.  Both art and music are very therapeutic and I love using them together to reveal my thoughts and beliefs.  Enjoy!!!

The words of this song by Cher is so powerful and emotional that I “believe” I will heal.  Listen to the wonderful words of this song and look at the beautiful colors of this journal page.  This is who I really am, a happy, cheerful and inspiring person and I pledge to try and keep my pages this way.  I cannot promise not being in a dark place at times, but I am pushing myself out of it by creating these journal pages and posting them in this blog.  I love using music along with the art because together they make me happy.  Just looking at the colors and vibrancy of this double page can’t help to make anyone happy.  It is not about the art, it is about the meaning behind the art and what it makes you feel.  This page and the music makes me happy and I want it to make you happy also.

Abandon “SHIP”

Abandoning

I am beginning to think I made my point about how angry I am. Don’t you think it is about time for me to be happy. I realize I am the only one who could make me happy so I am going to make a conscious effort to add some happy visual journals.

I need to get over the anger and start thinking about me. Don’t you agree? After all it has been about him for 42 years, now it is my turn.

In addition to what I have already revealed to you, my life has experienced more challenges but I do not want to overload you all at once. There is so much locked up in my soul it will take a while to get it all out through my art.

I Am Who I Am

Approval not needed

This is an example of a visual journal page where I have something very important to express but I am not very happy with the outcome of the page. It is dark and not what I envisioned. However, it is okay because my words are what I feel and this is the purpose of a visual journal to express your feelings!!

It appears all my pages are somewhat dark and this is the place I am now in my life. It isn’t typical of me because I see myself as a happy and optimistic person. I am working hard to remove the darkness in my life. I need and want to be happy again but I am learning you need to go through darkness at times throughout your life but always remember to work towards the brighter side of your life at all times until you eventually get there. It is a process and let’s see how it unveils itself here in my blog.

You will never know what is happening behind closed doors.  I am in the process of healing and I am sharing this process along with you. Turbulance

Life certainly has its ups and downs and I am certainly feeling the downs. This represents my feelings lately. I am looking for happiness and I will not give up until I find it.

New Blog * New Website * New Etsy Shop…OH MY!!!

Welcome to my new blog parked in a new place, WordPress.  I am making several changes in my life and business and so excited about all of it.

This blog is all about my daily life related to my art.  My future plans are to reveal my Visual journaling.  I use visual journaling as a way to express my inner most thoughts.  You need to look carefully at each of my pages to understand me and what makes me who I am.  It is a great form of expression.  If you are talented and feel a need to express yourself…this is the way to do it.  I love the mystery of not actually saying what you are feeling but rather showing it through art.  Look for postings often, not every day, but as often as I can make time in my busy life to work in my art journal.
